TV is, by and large, the most widely prevalent electronic medium in the world today. It covers a wide variety of programming from drama to comedy to live broadcasts too! The first TV sets were not as user-friendly as they are today but nevertheless marked a revolution in people’s viewing habits with their increased access to content of all sorts for a relatively small price and with little effort on their part. Let’s find out more about this technology. The first ever TV sets were presented at the 1933 Chicago World Fair. At a price of $400, they were not too popular and so remained a mere curiosity for most people. Several decades later, in 1946, the first regular commercial broadcast began in New York City and was broadcast by WRGB. In 1947 the BBC began experimental broadcasts with regular viewing beginning in 1954. In Canada, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) became the national TV broadcaster in 1952.   Image source:   https://www.amazon.in/ The first regular public
